"The Mind-Body Connection"
is it Observable?
Is it Measurable?
Is it Repeatable?
Is it Science?
Introduction to various means of achieving a state of consciousness, in which there is equilibrium between mind and body, the "mind body connection", where natural healing occurs. Laughter, meditation, visualization, communing with nature, listening to music, practicing and appreciating art, are some of the components. Lots of fun is guaranteed.
Practical painting exercises exploring the energy and vibration of colour, that resonate with the natural energy and vibration of the mind and body, and have a positive influence on our psychological and physiological health.

Alzheimer Coffee Break
Bridges Art Gallery will hold an Alzheimer Coffee Break on
Thursday, November, 19th. From 3pm. To 8pm.
Proceeds from our Coffee Break will go to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce to provide education and support for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, and to their families and caregivers.
Alzheimer Coffee Breaks are held across Canada to create awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and to raise money to support the work of local Alzheimer Societies.
Coffee Break is one of the main annual fundraising and awareness activities of the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce. Of the funds raised, more than 95% is used right in our local communities to provide services to people we know and care about. The balance goes to research to help find a cause and a cure. Last year Coffee Breaks across Grey-Bruce raised $34,000, part of more than $1,000,000 raised across Canada.
Bridges Art Gallery is proud to be part of this very important effort. Virtually everyone is touched by Alzheimer’s Disease in some fashion. either personally, or through a family member, a friend or neighbour, or a co-worker. By supporting our Alzheimer Coffee Break you will be making a difference right here in our community.
