“Pain Management & the Arts” - Special Presentation

Instructor: James Culligan. Wednesday, August 12th. 6pm - 9pm.

In this two-part evening, James will introduce you to various ways of achieving a state of awareness or consciousness, in which there is equilibrium between mind and body, where natural healing occurs. Laughter, meditation, visualization, communing with nature, listening to music, practicing and appreciating art, are some of the components. The second part of the evening is a practical painting exercise that explores the energy and vibration of colour and sound that resonate with the natural energy and vibrations of the body, and have a positive influence on our psychological and physiological health. Lots of fun is guaranteed. Space is limited, please pre-register.

Creative expression is part of a holistic and healthy lifestyle and the different ways in which we connect to our creativity and convey it is what makes us all unique. When we think of achieving a balance in our lives we often refer to the trio of mind, body and spirit. The creative wellness week was designed to introduce you to some outlets that focus on this trio.
