Vim Island
Eleanor and James are joining a small group of artists on a brief sojourn to Vim Island to recharge our creative energies in an idyllic, unspoiled, beautiful, natural, rugged setting.
McGregor Bay in the Northern Channel of Lake Huron is dotted with Islands that provide sanctuary for numerous species of waterfowl. loons, ducks, cormorants, gulls, Canada geese and the Great Blue heron. Birds of prey, such as hawks, golden eagles and even bald eagles can be seen soaring for hours on the wind currents.
The constantly changing atmospheric colours of the distinctive rocky formations and windblown trees against a backdrop of spectacular sunsets have a spiritual dimension that challenge the palettes of the most creative artists.
